We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Senior Food Scientist with a focus on beverages to join our growing team in the manufacturing industry.
This role is perfect for a seasoned professional with a strong background in food science or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the beverage or flavor industry.
The successful candidate will be a team player with an outgoing and friendly personality, who can work independently and as part of a team.
As a self-starter, you will be responsible for conducting physical, chemical, microbiological, and sensory testing of products.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Food Scientist, you will be responsible for developing new flavors for beverage products and improving existing ones.
Your duties will include:
Leading the development and innovation of new beverage products from concept to commercialization.
Conducting physical, chemical, microbiological, and sensory testing of products to ensure quality and safety.
Applying your knowledge of foods, flavors, and taste modulation to create products that meet consumer preferences.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful launch of new products.
Resolving complex technical problems related to flavors and functional ingredients within food systems.
Maintaining accurate and detailed records of product development and testing.
Meeting project deadlines and delivering results in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the role of Senior Food Scientist, you must meet the following
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Food Science or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the beverage or flavor industry.
Strong team player mentality with an outgoing and friendly personality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and drive projects to completion.
Experience conducting physical, chemical, microbiological, and sensory testing of products.
Application experience in foods, flavors, and taste modulation.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint for reporting.
Ability to resolve complex technical problems related to flavors and functional ingredients within food systems.
