Opportunity:
Sungard Availability Services' partners and channel development are key strategic areas of focus and a critical factor in driving company success. This Regional Channel Sales Director (RCSD) position plays an important role in helping accelerate revenue growth with Sungard Availability Services' channel ecosystem. The RCSD will support the Canadian and NE USA Region sales organization in partner recruitment, on-boarding, enablement and management.

Responsibilities:
Regional partner recruitment, on-boarding, & sales generation w/support from channel program team.
Team with direct sales rep(s) to manage sales process for in-region partner opportunities.
Define and manage forecast models and revenue plan with partners.
Support regional sales teams on opportunity pursuit.
Define and implement regional field engagement plans.
Manage business relationship between SGAS and partners.
Coordinate partner contract negotiations in support of channel program team & legal.
Work closely with Sungard AS NA Alliance team to support regional GTM activity.
Manage conflict resolution/escalation procedure between partner and SGAS.
Achieve quota as assigned.
Requirements:
5 - 7 years of successful quota achievement in Channel Sales or Direct Sales.
7 - 10 years of experience in IT industry supporting mid-market and enterprise customers/partners.
Preferred Qualities:
Have experience working in National partner accounts.
Competent knowledge in IT Industry, managed services, cloud, and business continuity solutions.
Previous experience working with Dell EMC, AT&T, and AWS a plus.
Experience and relationships working with Master Agents, Service Providers, and VARs/Sis.
College Degree preferred but will consider applicants with equivalent work-related experience with a minimum educational requirement of a H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
